You can put this solution on YOUR website!
I'm assuming that the equation is really y=-4x%2B5

y=-4x%2B5 Start with the given equation.

y=-4%281%29%2B5 Plug in x=1

y=-4%2B5 Multiply -4 and 1 to get -4

y=1 Add -4 to 5 to get 1.

So when x=1, the value of y is y=1
