You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2X-5Y=3
-X+4Y=-3
MULTIPLYING THE SECOND EQUATION BY 2 WE GET
-2X+8Y=-6 ADDING THIS TO THE FIRST EQUATION
2X-5Y=3 WE GET
-------
3Y=-3 OR Y=-1
SUBSTITUTING -1 FOR Y IN THE FIRST EQUATION WE GET
2X-5(-1)=3 OR 2X+5=3 OR 2X=3-5 OR 2X=-2 OR X=-1
PROOF 2(-1)-5(-1)=3 OR -2+5=3 OR 3=3
-(-1)+4(-1)=-3 OR 1-4=-3 OR -3=-3
