You can put this solution on YOUR website!

Any of the three could be true.

The set could have no mode, be bimodal or trimodal.

The following set of data has no MOde:

23, 27, 26, 29, 32, 28.

since no piece of data occurs MOre than any other.

The following set of data has one MOde,

170, 160, 160, 160, 175, 183

because 160 occurs MOst, so it is the MOde.

The following set of data has two MOdes, 30 and 50

20, 30, 30, 30, 40, 40, 50, 50, 50,

because 30 and 50 occur MOre than the others, but both of those
occur the same number of times.

The following set of data has three MOdes, 35 and 40 and 50

25, 25, 35, 35, 35, 40, 40, 40, 50, 50, 50, 65, 75

because 30 and 50 occur MOre than the others, but all three
occur the same number of times.
