You can put this solution on YOUR website! Assuming this is the way the problem is it is solved like this:
First, you must find a common denominator. In this case it is 15. since this is an equation, and the denominators are all the same .... drop them. Distribute the -5 to the (x+2) combine like terms add 10 to both sides divide by -2
NOW ... if the problem was supposed to be ...
It is solved like this: Distribute the -1 to the quantity add 2/3 to each side combine the x terms find common denom on the right (it is still 15) Combine like terms multiply both sides by -5/4 to cancel the term with the x cross reduce the fractions and multiply
