(x/x+5)-(5/-1(x+5)=(x+31)/(x^2-25)
(x/x+5)+(5/(x+5)=(x+31)/(x^2-25)
LCM of left side = x+5
x+5 /x+5 =(x+31)/(x^2-25)
(x^2-25)= x+31
x^2-x-56=0
x^2-8x+7x-56=0
x(x-8)+7(x-8)=0
(x-8)(x+7)=0
x= 8 OR 7
