You can put this solution on YOUR website! The first step in FACTORING is to see if there is a COMMON FACTOR. In this case, take out the 3y:
12y^3-15y^2+3y
3y(4y^2-5y+1)
The trinomial factors also.
3y(4y-1)(y-1)
