Question 314245: Use product rule to simplify the expression.
(-5)^6 x (-5)^6
Write in Exponential form.
Help is appreciated!
Answer by Jstrasner(112) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! First, if the bases (in this case -5) are the same, and you want to multiply the two expressions, than the two bases become one. As for the exponents, they are added together. Therefore:
((-5)^6)x((-5)^6)= (-5)^12
I hope this helps.
