Question 314112: Translate into a variable expression.
Four times the sum of 4 and x
Answer by rapaljer(4671) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! The sum of 4 and x will be 4+x
Four times this will be 4(4+x)
By distributive property,
4(4+x) = 16 + 4x
