Question 313665: Help with logarithmic problems?
1. Rewrite as an equivalent logarithmic equation with out solving.
e^2=7.3891
2. Express as an equivalent expression that is a product.
logbt5
-(do not know how to type #2 in properly, if there is even a way you are supposed to. The 'b' is a little lower than 'log' and the 't' & '5' are higher than the letter 'b')...if that helps, sorry I am a little cluless with these problems, please if anyone can provide me with assistance as soon as possible it will be tremendously appreciated!
Thank you all for looking!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Help with logarithmic problems?
1. Rewrite as an equivalent logarithmic equation with out solving.
e^2=7.3891
:
Using natural logs
ln(e^2) = ln(7.3891)
:
log equiv of exponents
2*ln(e) = ln(7.3891)
:
The ln of e is equal to 1, therefore
2 = ln(7.3891)
or
ln(7.3891) = 2
:
We can check this on a calc: enter ln(7.3891)
;
:
2. Express as an equivalent expression that is a product.
logbt5
Not sure what this is, perhaps
logb(5t) = y
as the exponent equiv;
b%5Ey+=+5t
