You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let the larger number be x+12
Let the smaller number be x
Equation:
x+2(x+12)=39
x+2x+24=39
3x=15
x=5
5+12=17
Hence, the two numbers are 17 and 5.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
X+2(X+12)=39 OR X+2X+24=39 OR 3X=15 OR X=5 2(5+12)=34
PROOF 5+34=39
