Question 312976: when math teacher say state the coordinates of the points d an e,an calculate the gradient of D and E how do i go by doing this?
Answer by nyc_function(2741) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! The gradient is the slope.
The coordinates of points are the values assigned to those points.
I assume that you are looking at a graph with points d and e.
For example, let's say that d = 4 and e = 5, then we can form a point (4,5), which can plotted on the coordinate plane.
If you need to learn how to find the gradient or slope, go to youtube.com and type FIND THE SLOPE GIVEN TWO POINTS. This will take you to a series of FREE math video clips where tutors and teachers will show you how to find the gradient. Again, the gradient is just another word for slope.
