First of all, are you allowed to have complex (imaginary!) solutions for this equation? If you are restricted to the real numbers, then there is NO SOLUTION, since a real number squared will never equal a negative.

However, if imaginary numbers are allowed, then
w%5E2=-225
w=0%2B-sqrt%28-225%29

Since 15^2=225,
w=15i or w=+-15i
