If u thinking about the graph of this line, the line is coming down from 15,
which is in y-axis. x intercept represent when 0 money is left, how many game he had played. in graph, put y-axis as money line(15, 14, 13 ..), and x-axis as money that he loses each game(.50, 1.00, 1.50 . ..).

Hello!
The equation you gave:
+-.50x%2B15=y
shows how money is left (y) after playing x games. It looks like this
graph%28200%2C200%2C-3%2C32%2C-1%2C16%2C-.50x%2B15%29
In order to find how much money is left after 7 games, we just plug x=7 into the equation:
y=15+-+0.50%2A7+=+11.50

The x-intercept is the value of x when y = 0. We just plug y=0 into the equation and solve for x:
0+=+15+-+0.50x
0.50x+=+15
x+=+15%2F0.50+=+30
So the x-intercept is 30. Its interpretation is "How many games can you play until the money you have left is zero?". The answer is 30 games.

I hope this helps!
