Question 31201: Please help me write an inequality to represent this interval:
[2, infinity) 2 is represented as an absolute value
Answer by troyapplehelen(46) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! since it is abs. of 2, value can spread from positive 2 and negative 2 in a number line. so there are two directions in the number line. but u should include the value of 2 and -2. so, x>2 and x<-2. when x is greater 2, it goes to infinity from 2 and when x is smaller than -2, its absolute value is always greater than 2.
