"point-slope" form of a line:
y - y1 = m(x - x1)
.
Plug in the information given from the problem:
y - 2 = (1/2)(x - 4)
y - 2 = (1/2)x - 2
y = (1/2)x (this is what they're looking for -- equation of line in "slope-intercept" form)
