A square with one side equal to (y+3) and another side equal to y IS NOT A SQUARE it is a rectangle.
PERIMETER=2L+2W
P=2(Y+3)+2Y=2Y+6+2Y=4Y+6 ANS.
AREA=LW
A=(Y+3)Y=Y^2+3Y ANS.
