Question 310925: This is the problem
5x+3y=-11
7x-2y=13 I multiplied the first one by 7 and the second one by 5 to get
35x + 21y = -77
35x + -10y = 65 So this is where I have the problem.
11y =-12 Isn't that what goes into the problem or am I missing something?

Any help will be appreciated

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
35x+%2B+21y+=+-77
35x+-+10y+=+65+
You're good up to here but you need to subtract the equations instead of add.
If you add 35x and 35x you get 70x and not 0.
Or just change the sign of eq. 2 and add.
35x+%2B+21y+=+-77
-35x+%2B+10y+=+-65
