Write in function form:
y-x+=+-1 First rewrite the equation in terms of y.
y+=+x-1 Now here y is a function of x so you can replace the y with f(x) to get:
f%28x%29+=+x-1 Now it's in function form. Red line on the graph.
Similarly:
8x%2B2y+=+-4 Rewrite the equation in terms of y.
y+=+-4x-2 and again, you can replace the y with f(x) to get:
f%28x%29+=+-4x-2 Green line on the graph.
Now we can fraph...oops...I mean graph the equations:
