You can put this solution on YOUR website!
First we need to solve the first equation for one lumberjack in one day, X. The equation would be
3%288x%29=18
24x=18
x=0.75 or one lumberjack can cut down 0.75 trees in one day
Now the second equation:
2%2828x%29=t where t=total number of trees and x=number of trees one lumberjack can cut down in one day. Plug in the value for X
2%2828%2A0.75%29=t
42=t 42 trees
