the standard forms for each type of conic are as follows:

parabola: +y+=+a%28x-h%29%5E2+ --> you have y and x%5E2

ellipse: +%28x%5E2%2Fa%5E2%29+%2B+%28y%5E2%2Fb%5E2%29+=+1+

hyperbola: +%28x%5E2%2Fa%5E2%29+-+%28y%5E2%2Fb%5E2%29+=+1+

Ellipse and hyperbola are very similar in their standard form: differing only in the sign of the y-term.

Your equation is of the ellipse form.
