i guess we have the following approach:
3 chickens in 3 days lay 3 eggs, so
1 chicken in 3 days lays 1 egg
1 chicken in 1 day lays 1/3 egg.
So,
6 chickens in 1 day lay 6(1/3) --> 2 eggs
6 chickens in 6 days lay 6*2 --> 12 eggs.
