5x + 5y^2 - 20 = 0

y= x^2 + 10x + 16
=(x^2+10x+25)-25+16 completing the square
=(x+5)^2-9 the standard form
Since y=a(x-h)^2+k is the standard form then a=1, h=-5, k=-9
The vertex is (h,k)=(-5,-9)
