You can put this solution on YOUR website! This is called Factoring by Grouping. It usually works to group the first two and last two terms together. From the first two terms, take out a common factor of x, and from the last two terms, take out a common factor of 2.
xy+5x+2y+10
x(y+5) + 2(y+5)
Now do you see a common factor of (y+5)? Take out this common factor:
(y+5)(x+2)
