Question 307302: find the horizontal asymptote, if any, of the graph of the rational function
g(x)=14x^2/7x^2+2
type the equation of the horizontal asymptote

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Any time the degree of the numerator is EQUAL to the degree of the denominator, which it is in this problem, then the horizontal asymptote is y= a number, where the number is the ratio of the leading coeffients. In this case, it would be y=14/7, or y=2.
