A baseball player has a batting average of .320 with 192 hits in 600 bats. His average against left-handed pitching is .250. Against right-handed pitching it is .350. How many times did he bat against left-handers?

You can put this solution on YOUR website! .250(600-X)+.350X=192 OR 150-.250X+.350X=192 OR .100X=42 OR X=420 BATS AGAINST RIGHT HANDERS THEREFORE AGAINST LEFTHANDERS HE HAD 180 BATS AGAINST LEFT HANDERS.
