A 1 in front of the number is the same as adding 100,000 to the number.
A 1 behind the number is the same as multiplying the number by 10 and then adding 1.
So the equation is: 3%2A%28100000+%2B+X%29+=+%28X%2A10%29+%2B+1
Simplify the equation
300000+%2B+3X+=+10X+%2B+1 Subtract 1 from both sides
299999+%2B+3X+=+10X Subtract 3X from both sides
299999+=+7X Divide both sides by 7
