You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If you want our help you have to at least write it correctly
Go back to the submit page and read about squared and square root.
You also have to use correctly the math symbols +-=* and /

You can put this solution on YOUR website!

x%5E2%2F%28x-2%29=4%2F%28x-2%29

Multiply through by x-2

However since we are multiplying thorugh by a variable
we will have to check our answers at the end.

x%5E2=4

x=%22%22%2B-sqrt%284%29

x = ±2

We get two solutions +2 and -2, but we must check
them both in the original equation since we multiplied
through by a variable:

Substitute +2 for x

x%5E2%2F%28x-2%29=4%2F%28x-2%29
2%5E2%2F%282-2%29=4%2F%282-2%29
4%2F0=4%2F0

Division by 0 is not defined. So we can rule out +2

Substitute -2 for x

x%5E2%2F%28x-2%29=4%2F%28x-2%29
%28-2%29%5E2%2F%28-2-2%29=4%2F%28-2-2%29
4%2F%28-4%29=4%2F%28-4%29
-1=-1

So -2 is the only solution.
