You can put this solution on YOUR website!
a man starts a journey at 30 miles/hour. Another starts 30mins after. at what speed must he move to catch up with him in 3hours?
let the second man's speed be x mph
The time taken by second man to catch up with the first = 3 hours
distance traveled by second man will be =3x
First man's speed = 30 mph
in 1/2 hour he has traveled 15 miles
distance traveled by first man in 3 hours = 30*3+15
90+15 = 3x
105 = 3x
x=35 mph
