9X^2-4Y^2=9X^2-12XY+4Y^2 SUBTRACT 9X^2 FROM BOTH SIDES.

12X=-8Y^2/Y CANCEL THE Y TERM.
12X=-8Y
X=-8Y/12
X=-2Y/3 ANS. FOR X.
-8Y=12X
Y=12X/-8
Y=-3X/2 ANS. FOR Y.
