Since the total is 72 there must be 2 pennies
remove the pennies you get 70 cents
let the number of quarters be x
The number of dimes be 4-x
25x+10(4-x)= 70
25x+40-10x= 70
15x=30
x=2 quarters
dimes = 2
2 penny = 1
