Question 304653: three times the sum of the first two integers of three consecutive even integers is two more than four times the third integer. Find the second integer!..ahh help!! pls Answer by richwmiller(17219) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! three consecutive even integers x, x+2, x+4
3*(x+x+2)=2+4*(x+4)
3*(2x+2)=2+4*(x+4)
6x+6=2+4x+16
2x=2+10
2x=12
x=6
6,8,10
check
3*14=2+4*10
42=42
ok
