You can put this solution on YOUR website! log625(1/5)=x ---
 Write the equation in exponential form.
 -----------
 625^x = (1/5)
 Write the right side in exponential form.
 ---
 625^x = 5^(-1)
 ----
 Since the base is 5 on the right side, convert the left
 side to base 5:
 (5^4)^x = 5^(-1)
 5^(4x) = 5^(-1)
 ---
 The bases are the same so equate the exponents.
 ---
 4x = -1
 x = -1/4
