both the hoses fill in 20 minutes
they do 1/20 of the job in 1 minute
bigger hose does 1/30 of the job in 1 minute
so in 1 minute the smaller hose will do 1/20 -1/30 of the job
=30-20 / 600
=10/600 = 1/60
the smaller hose does 1/60 of the job in 1 minute
To do the complete job it will take 60 minutes
The smaller hose will fill in 60 minutes
