You can put this solution on YOUR website!

2A%2F3=8%2B4A What is A?
The common denominator is 3, so we multiply every term through by 3:
3%2A%282A%2F3%29=3%2A8%2B3%2A4A
Now the 3's cancel on the left and we have
2A+=+24%2B12A
Now we subtract 12A from both sides
2A-12A+=+24
combine the 2A and the -12A on the left, getting -10A
-10A+=+24
Now we divide both sides by -10 to get A:
A+=+-24%2F10
Reduce the fraction:
A+=+-12%2F5 or if you prefer A+=+-2.4
