Question 299257: This has to do with rational exponents and I need to simplify it, I will show you what I did, but I am not confident that I did it right. Can someone please check and show me?
(32^1/5 x^2/3)^3 to be sure I typed that right. It is in a bracket and it is 32 to the power of 1/5 and x to the power of 2/3 and another bracket and then those both to the power of 3.
I broke the 32 ^ 1/5 down to (2)^5 multiplied it by the ^3 outside the whole bracket and I get (2)^15/5 and reduce the 15/5 to 3. Making it (2)^3.
Then for the (x)^2/3 and multiplied it by the ^3 outside the bracket also and get (x)^2. So (2)^3 =8 and that goes with x^2. The answer is 8x^2. I hope.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Simplify:
%2832%5E%281%2F5%29%2Ax%5E%282%2F3%29%29%5E3 Multiply the interior exponents by the exterior exponent.
32%5E%283%2F5%29%2Ax%5E2%29 The first exponent is 3%2F5 Substitute 32+=+2%5E5 and simplify.
2%5E3%2Ax%5E2 Substitute 2%5E3+=+8
