You can put this solution on YOUR website!
.50*6=.20(6+x)
3=1.2+.2x
.2x=3-1.2
.2x=1.8.
x=1.8/.2
x=9 Liters of water is needed.
Proof:
.50*6=.20(6+9)
3=.2*15
3=3

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The 6 liters of 50% is 3 liters of acid and 3 liters of water.
To make it a 20% mix, water will be the other 80%.
3 liters of acid = 20%
12 liters of water = 80%
12 - 3 = 9 liters of water to be added.
