Question 29834: Ike and Nancy Lara give western dance lessons at the Elk's Lodge on Sunday nights. The lessons cost $3.00 for members and $5.00 for nonmembers. Half of the money collected for the lessons is paid to Ike and Nancy. The Elk's Lodge keeps the other half. One Sunday night Ike counts 36 people in the dance lesson. You can put this solution on YOUR website!
To get the leaste amount they could recieve, you can assume that the dancers are all members( that'll give you $3.00/person)) Since there are 36 people, you multiply 36 people by $3.00 to get $108.00 for those 36 people. But since they only get half of that, you divide it by 2 to get $54.00. So, $54.00 is your answer. :)
