You can simplify this polynomial by the FOIL technique.
1. Set up your 2 parenthesises
( )( )

2. Use FOIL to fill the parenthesises.

2x^2-7xy+6y^2
for any quadratic equation to be solved
multiply the coefficient of the first term and the third term
split the second term into two terms such that the product of the two co-efficients of split terms must be equal to the the product of the co-efficients of term 1 & term 3 and their sum must be equal to the second term.
2x^2 -4xy-3xy+6y^2
-4 -3 =-7
-4*-3=12
2x(x-2y)-3v(x-2y)
(x-2y)(2x-3y)
