You can put this solution on YOUR website!
a bag contains 3 red marbles, 2 white marbles, and 2 blue marbles. In how many ways can a blue marble be selected from the bag?
There are only two blue marbles, so call them "blue marble A" and
"blue marble B".

The question is:

In how many ways can a blue marble be selected from the bag?
The answer is 2.

Here's why there are two ways a blue marbles can be selected:

Way #1: Choose blue marble A
or
Way #2: Choose blue marble B

Anybody would know that, so it's really a foolish question, now isn't it.

I'll bet you knew there were exactly two ways to pick a blue one all along,
didn't you?, especially since there were exactly two blue ones in the bag.
