That is a geometric sequence beginning with first term a%5B1%5D=3,
because to get each succeeding term, we multiply the preceding term 
by 2.

Substitute n=100, a%5B1%5D=3, and r=2

a%5B100%5D=%283%29%2A%282%29%5E%28100-1%29
