2.2x-3y=-9
Use eq. 1 and substitute for y in eq.2, solve for x.
2x-3y=-9
2x-3%28-x-2%29=-9
2x-%28-3x-6%29=-9
2x%2B3x%2B6=-9
5x=-15
x=-3
Now use either eq. 1 or 2 to solve for y, eq. 1 is easier.
y=-x-2=-%28-3%29-2=3-2=1
