The equation should be A%28r%29=pi%2Ar%5E2 which means that A%286%29=pi%2A%286%29%5E2=%283.14%29%2836%29=113.04 (which is approximate)

That is not the right formula for the area of a circle.
A(r)=pi*r^2
pi is about 3.14
