Question 295328: A spinner is divided into 7 equal sections. Each section is either green or red. The spinner was spun 23 times. It landed on a green section 15 times and on red section 8 times. Which proportion can be used to find the number R of sections that could be expected to be red ?
1. 8/(23-8) = R/7
2. 8/23 = 7/R
3. 8/23 = R/7
4. 7/(23-7) = R/8
5 7/23 = 8/R
Thanks for your help !!!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
if u have 3 out of 10 things its expressed 3/10 so if u have R and G out of 7 it would be R/7 and G/7
theres 23 total spins 8/23 spins land on red
theres 7 total sections R/7 sections are red
so
8%2F23=R%2F7
