You can put this solution on YOUR website!
5x + 6y = 14 and
-3y + x = 7
I think substitution would be the easiest
so let's rearrange -3y + x = 7 so add 3y to both sides
x = 3y + 7 now substitute into the first equation and solve
5(3y + 7) + 6y = 14
15y + 35 + 6y = 14
21y + 35 = 14 subtract 35 from both sides
21y = -21 divide by 21
y = -1
Now we know y = -1 use the first equation again and use -1 for y
5x + 6(-1) = 14
5x - 6 = 14 add 6 to both sides
5x = 20 divide by 5
x = 4
so now you have your cordinate (4, -1)

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
5x + 6y =14
x - 3y =7
multiply second by 2
5x+6y=14
2x-6y=14
add the two equations
7x=28
x=4
4-3y=7
-3y=3
y=-1
