THE FORMULA IS 3(X-6)=2(X+6) OR 3 HOURS AT A THE SPEED OF THE BOAT MINUS THE 6 KM/H CURRENT & THE 2 HOUR RETURN TRIP WAS BOAT PLUS THE 6 KM/H CURRENT
OR 3X-18=2X+12 OR X=30 KM/HR
PROOF 3(30-6)=2(30+6) OR 3X24=2X36 OR 72=72
