You first want to factor out;

For the numerator factor out a;
a(a+2)
THen for the denominator, you can't factor out a GCF, so you factor;
(a+2)(a+1)
Now you have;
a%28a%2B2%29%2F%28a%2B2%29%28a%2B1%29
Now cancel out (a+2) in numerator and denominator, and you are left with;
a%2F%28a%2B1%29
2)%283a%5E2%2B15a%29%2F%28a%5E3-25a%29
Factor out GCF;
3a%28a%2B5%29%2Fa%28a%5E2-25%29
you can factor the denominator;
a(a+5)(a-5)
3a%28a%2B5%29%2Fa%28a-5%29%28a%2B5%29
Cancel out a and (a+5);
3%2F%28a%2B5%29

You can not factor out a GCF, so factor whole problem;
