The answer is 5 hr and 20 min, but I don't understand why you don't divide 3/5 by 8? Shouldn't we apply the formula Rate = Amount (3/5)/ Time (8)?

Because, when you divide 8%2F%283%2F5%29+=+13.3hours, you will have found how long it would take to fill the pool altogether. (13 hrs 20 min)
But the question is "How much more time will it take to finish filling the pool?"
So you want to subtract 8 hours from the 13 hours 20 minutes to get 5 hours 20 minutes to finish filling the pool.
