(First, you can put the entire expression within one set of braces. This makes it easier to read. The way you posted it and the the way this was displayed on my computer, I initially thought it was root%288%2C+5%29+-+root%282%2C+5%29.)

You probably know that
8x - 2x = 6x
8sqrt%285%29+-+2sqrt%285%29 is basically the same thing:
8sqrt%285%29+-+2sqrt%285%29+=+6sqrt%285%29

Note:
8sqrt%285%29+-+2sqrt%286%29 are not like terms and cannot be subtracted!
and
8root%283%2C+5%29+-+2sqrt%285%29 are not like terms either and cannot be subtracted!
