You can try solving by graphing, factoring, or using the quadratic equation to solve for x.
x+=+%28-b+%2B-+sqrt%28+b%5E2-4%2Aa%2Ac+%29%29%2F%282%2Aa%29+
where
a=2
b=1
c=-6

So what did you try? nothing? Then where is your work?
divide by 3 first
x*(2x+1)=6
2x^2+x-6=0
factors into
(x+2) (2 x-3) = 0
x=-2 and x=3/2
