Question 289725: Rob has 12 chickens. The ideal space for a chicken run, per bird is 1'x1'. How ever my mom feel that the space should be 3'x3'.Rob's current chicken run is 4'x9'. considerations should be the tree on the longer side of the fence and the patio on the short side. Rob must expand both the length as well as the width equally in order to obtain more chickens. Last night Rob found rare blue cochins while he was looking at sales in the paper. He would love to order 4 of each bird. This would brings the flock quantity up to 20 chickens.Rob figures that the biggest he may go right now, with his chicken run is 2'x2' of ground space per bird. What will the dimentions be of Rob's new chicken run once complete? (4+x)(x+9)=80 Thanks
